Question 7: Today we believe in the Lord Jesus; we suffer and sacrifice to spread the Lord’s name, forsaking everything else. We are doing the heavenly Father’s will. This means we have already been made holy. When the Lord arrives, He will definitely rapture us into the kingdom heaven.

Answer: As for who can enter the kingdom of heaven: The Lord Jesus said, “Not every one that said to Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that does the will of My Father which is in heaven” (Mat 7:21). The Lord Jesus clearly told us that only those who do the heavenly Father’s will can enter the kingdom of heaven. Brothers and sisters, although people sacrifice to spread the Lord’s name, forsaking all else, we cannot deny that they also sin quite a lot.

Question 6: We forsake everything else, spread the Lord’s gospel, and shepherd the church. This kind of labor is the way to implement the heavenly Father’s will. Is there anything wrong with our practice this way?

Answer: Spreading the Lord’s gospel and working for Him doesn’t necessarily mean you’re doing the will of the heavenly Father. To truly do the heavenly Father’s will, man must follow the Lord’s way and keep His commandments. Man must perform his duty as the Lord demands. Just like what the Lord Jesus said, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like to it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself” (Mat 22:37–39). Continue reading “Question 6: We forsake everything else, spread the Lord’s gospel, and shepherd the church. 2021 Christian Gospel Testimony Video | “This Is God’s Voice”

Ever since she was little, the main character went to church along with her parents, but later in her life she starts to feel spiritually empty and grows distant from the Lord. By chance, she and her husband stumble upon a movie online made by The Church of Almighty God, called Yearning. She hears the words of Almighty God and feels that they possess power and authority, and she feels certain within her heart that they are the voice of God. By watching the movie, she learns that the Lord Jesus has already come in secret, that He is Almighty God—she is elated, and continues to seek and investigate. By reading Almighty God’s words, she becomes utterly certain that Almighty God is the return of the Lord Jesus. She accepts His work of the last days and attends the wedding feast of the Lamb.

Question 5: We follow the example of Paul and we work very hard for the Lord, just like Paul said: “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.” Is this not following the will of God? Practicing in this way should mean that we are qualified to be raptured and to enter into the kingdom of heaven, so why must we accept God’s work of judgment and purification in the last days before we can be brought into the kingdom of heaven?

Regarding the Lord’s Return, to Whom Should One Listen?

Regarding the Lord’s Return, to Whom Should One Listen?

By Hanmei, Burma

What’s the key to welcoming the Lord’s coming? The Lord Jesus said, “My sheep hear My voice” (John 10:27). “And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom comes; go you out to meet him” (Matthew 25:6). Revelation prophesied: “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear My voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me” (Revelation 3:20). “He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches” (Revelation 2:7). These prophecies show that listening for God’s voice is the key to welcoming the Lord. Hearing the voice of God is the only way. But a lot of believers think that since the clergy know the Bible and expound on it all the time they should be the gatekeepers for something as important as this. So when they hear testimony that the Lord has returned, they don’t look into it and when they see Almighty God’s words are the truth, they still disregard them. I Find the Path to Knowing God

By Xiaocao, Shanxi Province

One day, I saw the following passage of God’s words in the piece “How Peter Came to Know Jesus”: “During the time he followed Jesus, Peter observed and took to heart everything about His life: His actions, words, movements, and expressions. … From his time in contact with Jesus, Peter also saw that His character was different from that of an ordinary man. He always acted steadily and never with haste, never exaggerated nor underplayed a subject, and He conducted His life in a way that revealed a character which was both normal and admirable. In conversation, Jesus spoke plainly and with grace, communicating always in a cheerful yet serene manner—and yet never did He lose His dignity while carrying out His work. Peter saw that Jesus was sometimes taciturn, while other times He spoke incessantly. Continue reading “I Find the Path to Knowing God”

After the main character takes on a leadership role, he becomes consumed by the fear of expressing an incorrect opinion and being looked down on by others. In an effort to preserve his position as a leader, he disguises and packages himself at every turn, never freely expressing his personal perspective, but always speaking with great caution and after careful consideration. He finds this a very oppressive, painful way to live. Later on, after being exposed by God’s words, he realizes that behind his disingenuousness is the fact that he’s being controlled by his corrupt disposition. What exactly does he learn? What paths of practice does he find in God’s words that set him free? You’ll find the answers in Behind the Disguise.
