Question 4: People are sinful, but the sin offering of the Lord Jesus is forever effective. As long as we confess our sins to the Lord, He will forgive us. We are sinless in the Lord’s eyes, so we can enter the kingdom of heaven!

enter the kingdom of heaven

Answer: The Lord Jesus has forgiven mankind’s sins, but that doesn’t mean man doesn’t have sin. That doesn’t mean man has been freed from the control of their sins or have attained sanctity. The Lord Jesus forgives man’s sins. What does “sin” really refer to in this context? It refers to adultery, theft, etc., anything that violates laws, commandments or God’s words is sin. Any action that resists, condemns or judges God is also sin. Any blasphemy against God is sin, sin that cannot be forgiven! In the Age of Grace, the Lord Jesus served as a sin offering for humanity. Only those that prayed to the Lord and repented would not be condemned or put to death. Continue reading “Question 4: People are sinful, but the sin offering of the Lord Jesus is forever effective. 2021 Christian Testimony Video | “Rectifying My Motives in My Duty”

2021 Christian Testimony Video | “Rectifying My Motives in My Duty”

In this video, the main character is elected as a church leader. At first, she thinks that as a leader, her fellowship on the truth has to be clearer than others’, she needs to be able to see into the essence of problems, and she has to resolve any and all problems brothers and sisters face in their entry into life. She feels that’s the only way to be looked up to and approved of by others. Her starting point and her motives in her duty aren’t correct—she’s constantly thinking about upholding her position as leader, she’s afraid of not solving others’ problems and being looked down on, and she’s always really nervous in gatherings. As a result, her fellowship is lifeless and gatherings become less and less effective. Continue reading “2021 Christian Testimony Video | “Rectifying My Motives in My Duty””

10. The Kingdom of Heaven Is Actually Upon the Earth

10. The Kingdom of Heaven Is Actually Upon the Earth

The greatest longing we believers have is to be able to enter the kingdom of heaven, and to enjoy the eternal bliss bestowed upon man by the Lord. Every time I heard a pastor say in a sermon that the place the Lord will prepare for us in the future is up in the heavens, that there will be fields of gold and walls of jade, gems will glisten everywhere, we’ll be able to eat the fruit of the tree of life and drink the water of the river of life, there will be no more pain, tears, or sorrow, and all will be free and liberated, I would feel this incredible surge of emotion and joy. Question 1: The Lord Jesus died on the cross for us, He forgave all our sins and redeemed us from the hands of Satan. That is to say, He did this to save us and grant us access to the kingdom of heaven. Even after this redemption, we continue to sin and we have yet to be cleansed. Nevertheless, I believe that the Lord’s forgiveness has made us righteous through our faith. As long as we sacrifice everything else to work and spend for God, as long as we are willing to endure suffering and pay the price, we’d be raptured into the kingdom of heaven. I think this is the Lord’s promise to us. However, my brothers and sisters have now questioned this belief. They say that although we labor and work for the Lord, we still sin often and then confess our sins, so we have not yet been cleansed. They have stated that the Lord is holy, so unholy people cannot meet Him. My question is: We who have sacrificed everything else and spend for the Lord, can we really be raised up into the kingdom of heaven? We really don’t know the answer to this question, so we’d like you to talk to us about it.

raised up into the kingdom of heaven

Answer: All believers think: The Lord Jesus redeemed us when He died on the cross, so we have already been absolved of all sin. The Lord no longer sees us as sinners. We have become righteous through our faith, and once saved, we are saved forever. As long as we endure until the end, when the Lord returns, we will be directly raptured into the heavenly kingdom. Well, is that the truth? Did God ever give any evidence in His words to back up this claim? If this viewpoint is not in line with the truth, what will the consequences be? We who believe in the Lord should use His own words as our basis for all things. This is especially true when it comes to the question of how to treat the Lord’s return. Reunited With the Lord

The Church of Almighty God | image

I was born into a Catholic family, and from an early age my mother taught me to read the Bible. That was during the time the Chinese Communist Party was building up the nation after the civil war, and since the CCP government was suppressing all religions, I was 20 years old before I finally got the chance to go to church and listen to sermons. The priest often said to us: “We Catholics must properly confess our sins and repent. We must do good, not evil, and always go to Mass. During the last days, the Lord is going to come and judge everyone and send people to heaven or to hell based on their behavior. The greatest sinners will suffer eternal punishment in hell, whereas those who commit minor sins can still go to heaven as long as they confess their sins to the Lord and repent. 2. The Road to Purification

The Church of Almighty God | image

My name is Christopher, and I’m a pastor of a house church in the Philippines. In 1987, I was baptized and turned to the Lord Jesus and then by the Lord’s grace, in 1996 I became a pastor in a local church. At that time, I was not only working and preaching in many places around the Philippines, but I was also preaching in places such as Hong Kong and Malaysia. Through the work and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, I felt that I had inexhaustible energy in my work for the Lord and endless inspiration for my sermons. I would often offer support to brothers and sisters who were feeling negative and weak. Continue reading “2. The Road to Purification”

2021 Christian Testimony Video | What Lies Behind a “Good Image”

The main character, the church’s gospel deacon, notices problems in how brothers and sisters are performing their duties, but she never brings them up out of fear of offending them and ruining their positive image of her. She only brings up more palatable things and comforts others. Upon realizing this, a sister exposes her hypocrisy, leaving her feeling very ashamed. Through the revelations of God’s words, she recognizes that the essence of this tendency of hers is that she is misleading and ensnaring others, and getting brothers and sisters to look up to her and adore her in spite of the damage it does to their lives. Question 8: Since believing in the Lord, we have given everything to expend ourselves and have worked very hard for the Lord, and we have undergone quite a lot of persecution and tribulation. We have even been imprisoned for Him and we’d rather die than deny the name of the Lord or betray Him. I think that this is carrying out God’s will. By suffering for the Lord and standing witness we can achieve holiness, and be qualified to see the Lord. As long as we continue to uphold this, when He returns we will be raptured into the kingdom of heaven.

The Church of Almighty God | image
Answer: Working hard for the Lord is doing God’s will—this is a notion of most people in the religious world. As far as people see it, that’s quite right, but does it accord with the truth, and is it in line with the Lord’s will? Let’s first look at a fact. When the Jewish Pharisees traveled over land and sea to preach and do His work, to other people it looked like they were upstanding in behavior and pious. So why were they condemned and cursed by the Lord Jesus, who said “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites”? Continue reading “Question 8: Since believing in the Lord, we have given everything to expend ourselves and have worked very hard for the Lord, and we have undergone quite a lot of persecution and tribulation.
