345 God’s Incarnation Is Mainly to Express His Word

Almighty God says, “God’s saving of man is not done directly using the method of the Spirit and the identity of the Spirit, for His Spirit can neither be touched nor seen by man, neither can man draw near. If He tried to save man directly using the perspective of the Spirit, man would be unable to receive His salvation. If God did not put on the outward form of a created man, there would be no way for man to receive this salvation. For man has no way of approaching Him, much as no one was able to go near the cloud of Jehovah. Only by becoming a created human being, that is, only by putting His word into the body of flesh that He is about to become, can He personally work the word into all who follow Him. Only then can man personally see and hear His word, and moreover enter into possession of His word, and by this means come to be fully saved” (The Word Appears in the Flesh).

God Saved Me From Death —Getting Colorectal Cancer in My 70s (Part 1)

We’re sure many brothers and sisters have had the following experience: When we have only just become sick, we still have the faith to lean on God through it. But when our sickness continues and does not get better, we then perhaps start to make unreasonable demands of God and can even blame and misunderstand God. So how should we experience such a situation as this? What is God’s will?

Almighty God says: “And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on My name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is My people: and they shall say, Jehovah is my God” (Zechariah 13:9).
“When you face sufferings you must be able to not consider the flesh and not complain against God. When God hides Himself from you, you must be able to have the faith to follow Him, to maintain your previous love without allowing it to falter or disappear. No matter what God does, you must submit to His design, and be more willing to curse your own flesh than to complain against Him. When you are faced with trials you must satisfy God in spite of any reluctance to part with something you love, or bitter weeping. Only this can be called true love and faith. No matter what your actual stature is, you must first possess the will to suffer hardship as well as true faith, and you must have the will to forsake the flesh. You should be willing to personally endure hardships and suffer losses to your personal interests in order to satisfy God’s will. You must also have a heart of regretting yourself, that you weren’t able to satisfy God in the past, and be able to regret yourself now. Not a single one of these can be lacking and God will perfect you through these things. If you lack these conditions, you cannot be perfected.” From God’s words we understand that, during the process of God saving us, God will arrange all kinds of situations to trial and refine us, thereby exposing and purifying our corrupt dispositions and the defilements in our faith. At the same time, He arranges situations to perfect our faith in Him and love for Him. Sickness is one way in which God refines us and, as we experience it, we must keep our faith in God.

God’s Name Is Truly Mysterious

Revelation Has Long Prophesied God’s Name in the Last Days

If we search the Scriptures, it is not difficult to find that Revelation mentions a number of times God’s new name in the last days. For example, “I am Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the Ending, said the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty” (Revelation 1:8). “And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, LORD God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come” (Revelation 4:8). Apart from these verses, other verses also mention the Almighty such as Revelation 15:3, Revelation 16:7, Revelation 16:14, Revelation 21:22, and so on. From these prophecies, we can see that when the Lord returns in the last days, His name will be changed to the Almighty.

An Actor’s Transformation

God says, “[Y]ou shall therefore be holy, for I am holy” (Leviticus 11:45). “[H]oliness, without which no man shall see the Lord” (Hebrews 12:14). It can be seen that God is holy. Now we still live in sin and are bound by sin. We haven’t achieved purification; are we qualified to be taken into the heavenly kingdom?

Let’s read God’s words and then we’ll understand this question. The Lord Jesus said, “Truly, truly, I say to you, Whoever commits sin is the servant of sin. And the servant stays not in the house for ever: but the son stays ever” (John 8:34–35). God’s words say, “You must know what kind of people I desire; those who are impure are not permitted to enter into the kingdom, those who are impure are not permitted to besmirch the holy ground. Though you may have done much work, and worked for many years, in the end if you are still deplorably filthy, then it will be intolerable to the law of Heaven that you wish to enter My kingdom! From the foundation of the world until today, never have I offered easy access to My kingdom to those who curry favor with Me. This is a heavenly rule, and no one can break it!” Clearly, God is holy and those who often live in the state of sinning and confessing can’t enter God’s kingdom. This is decided by God’s righteous disposition.

Escaping the Jaws of Death

Since the Chinese Communist Party came to power, it has been crazily striking against religious beliefs in order to fully eradicate them and consolidate its atheist dictatorship. It has been tearing down churches, destroying copies of the Bible, and wantonly arresting and persecuting Christians. It inflicts brutal torture, brainwashing, and long-term surveillance on Christians in a vain attempt to eradicate Christians and make China a region without God. Because of the CCP’s inhuman persecution, more and more Christians have to leave their homes for foreign countries. However, the CCP doesn’t stop pursuing and persecuting them. It has extended its dark hand to democratic countries overseas, attempting to extradite the Christians and persecute them more brutally.

God’s Love Guided Me Through the Trial of Illness

Almighty God says, “What the work of judgment brings about is man’s understanding of the true face of God and the truth about his own rebelliousness. The work of judgment allows man to gain much understanding of the will of God, of the purpose of God’s work, and of the mysteries that are incomprehensible to him. It also allows man to recognize and know his corrupt substance and the roots of his corruption, as well as to discover the ugliness of man. These effects are all brought about by the work of judgment, for the substance of this work is actually the work of opening up the truth, the way, and the life of God to all those who have faith in Him. This work is the work of judgment done by God.”

I Have Seen My True Colors

Are you feeling troubled because of not being able to be free from the bondage of sin? Are you worried that you might not be capable of entering the kingdom of heaven because of often committing sins? Are you eager to find the way to cast off sin completely? Don’t worry. The Lord Jesus whom we have longed for desperately has already returned and He is Almighty God, Christ of the last days. Almighty God has expressed millions of words and carried out the work of judgment beginning with the house of God and shown man the way to eliminate his corrupt satanic disposition and attain salvation. The Picture Exhibition of The Church of Almighty God presents the six stages of Almighty God’s work of judgment beginning with the house of God: the trial of the service-doers, the trial of death, the time of loving God, the trial of the foils, the trial of the descendants of Moab, and the trial of the offspring of the great red dragon. Through undergoing the six stages of trials and refinements, God’s chosen people have fewer incorrect intentions and adulterations in their belief in God, and their corrupt dispositions have been purified and they have had some knowledge of God’s righteous disposition, salvation and love. Thus they come to develop true reverence and submission to God and are filled with gratitude and praise for Him in their hearts.

An Officer’s Change

Regardless of how angry God had been with the Ninevites, as soon as they declared a fast and donned sackcloth and ashes, His heart began to soften and He began to change His mind. When He proclaimed to them that He would destroy their city—the moment prior to their confession and repentance for their sins—God was still angry with them. Once they had carried out a series of repentant acts, God’s anger for the people of Nineveh gradually transformed into mercy and tolerance for them. There is nothing contradictory about the coinciding revelation of these two aspects of God’s disposition in the same event. So, how should one understand and know this lack of contradiction? God expressed and revealed each of these two polar-opposite substances in turn as the people of Nineveh repented, allowing people to see the realness and the unoffendableness of God’s substance. God used His attitude to tell people the following: It is not that God does not tolerate people, or that He does not want to show mercy to them; rather, it is that they rarely truly repent to God, and it is rare that people truly turn away from their evil ways and abandon the violence in their hands.

I Have Only Just Begun Walking the Right Path of Life

“Because people do not recognize God’s orchestrations and God’s sovereignty, they always face fate defiantly, with a rebellious attitude, and always want to cast off God’s authority and sovereignty and the things fate has in store, hoping in vain to change their current circumstances and alter their fate. But they can never succeed; they are thwarted at every turn. This struggle, which takes place deep in one’s soul, is painful; the pain is unforgettable; and all the while one is frittering away one’s life. …when you truly understand that everything God has planned for and decided for you is a great benefit, and is a great protection, then you feel your pain gradually lighten, and the whole of you become relaxed, free, liberated” (“God Himself, the Unique III” in Continuation of The Word Appears in the Flesh).
