We believe that the wise virgins’ preparing of the oil refers to being unfailing in prayer, in reading the Scriptures, and in attending assembly, working diligently for the Lord, and vigilantly awaiting the Lord’s return. This is what it means to be a wise virgin, and when the Lord returns, we shall welcome the bridegroom and attend the feast of the Lamb.

Yet you testify that the Lord Jesus has already returned, that He has appeared in the flesh and is performing His work in China. China is a nation ruled by an atheistic political party. In no country is there greater resistance to God and persecution of Christians. How could the Lord’s return be to China?

Why will God cast into disaster those who do not accept Almighty God?

The key thing in our waiting for the coming of the Lord is to seek to hear the voice of the Lord. But now, our greatest difficulty is that we don’t know how we should listen for the Lord’s voice. We also are not able to distinguish between what is God’s voice, and what is man’s voice. Please fellowship with us about how to be certain once and for all of the Lord’s voice.
Answer: How do we hear the voice of God? The loftiness of our qualities or the length of our experience do not count in this. Believing in the Lord Jesus, what do we feel when we hear many of His words? Though we have no experience and knowledge of the Lord’s words, the moment we hear them we feel they are the truth, that they have power and authority. How does this feeling arise? Is it generated by virtue of our experience? It is the effect of inspiration and intuition. This suffices to prove that people with heart and spirit can all feel that the words of God have power and authority; this is hearing the voice of God.
