In every step of God’s work, Satan would wildly disturb people and distribute all kinds of fallacies to deceive people. Just as when the Lord Jesus worked, those Jewish leaders fabricated many rumors and denied that the Lord Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit. They condemned the Lord Jesus for blasphemy, and even said the Lord Jesus drove demons by the prince of the devils. In the end Jewish people blindly listened to the Pharisees and fell for the trickery of Satan. They nailed the Lord Jesus to the cross and lost the eternal salvation. It is now the end of the last days when someone testifies that the Lord has already come to do a new work. Some fabricated fallacies or lies come out of the religious world and the CCP government, so that some people do not dare to investigate God’s work of the last days. Isn’t this to fall for Satan’s scheme? If we blindly believe rumors and do not humbly seek the truth in such a big matter as welcoming the Lord’s coming, we would miss the chance to be saved into the heavenly kingdom and lose the Lord’s salvation. Then aren’t we foolish virgins? Just as the Bible says, “Fools die for want of wisdom” (Proverbs 10:21).
Chinese Christians have been brutally persecuted by the Chinese Communist government, even to the death, as well as its cruel oppression of Christian families and their tragedies of deaths and broken homes. The true plight of power trumping law in China is ruled by the Chinese Communist Party. The policy of freedom of religion is nothing but a lie, a story. The Chinese Communist government wantonly tramples on the law and has utter disregard for human life. It brutally persecutes Christians and has committed countless evil deeds, bringing grave disaster to Chinese Christians.
God’s word says, “If you only enjoy the grace of God, with a peaceful family life or material blessings, then you have not gained God, and your belief in God has failed. God has already carried out one stage of the work of grace in the flesh, and has already bestowed material blessings upon man—but man cannot be made perfect with grace, love, and mercy alone. In man’s experiences he encounters some of God’s love, and sees the love and mercy of God, yet having experienced for a period of time, he sees that God’s grace and His love and mercy are incapable of making man perfect, and incapable of revealing that which is corrupt within man, nor are they able to rid man of his corrupt disposition, or make perfect his love and faith. God’s work of grace was the work of one period, and man cannot rely on enjoying the grace of God in order to know God.”

As is well known, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) seized power through lies and violence, and it relies on lies and violence to maintain its power. The CCP’s rule is nothing but lies, violence, and murder. The CCP propagates atheism, regarding religion as the spiritual opium of the people. Christians preach the gospel and witness for God to carry out God’s will, but the CCP condemns such righteous deeds as abandoning and breaking up their families, and arrests and imprisons Christians on various false charges. In mainland China, Christians from various house churches, particularly from CAG, suffer brutal oppression and persecution for the sake of their religious belief, some of whom were left disabled or died. Many Christians have gone into exile and were rendered homeless with their families scattered. Countless Christian families have been thus broken!
A Youth Without Regret
By Xiaowen, Chongqing City
“‘Love’ refers to an emotion that is pure and without blemish, where you use your heart to love, to feel, and to be thoughtful. In love there are no conditions, no barriers, and no distance. In love there is no suspicion, no deceit, and no cunning. In love there is no distance and nothing impure” (“Pure Love Without Blemish” in Follow the Lamb and Sing New Songs). This hymn of God’s words was once my companion as I lived through an interminable and painful seven years and four months of life in prison. Though the CCP government deprived me of the best years of my youth, I gained from Almighty God the truth that is most precious and most real. Therefore I have no regrets whatsoever!
A brother wrote to us, “I lack true faith in God. I always try to handle things relying on my own ability instead of God, and thus I’m often frustrated or defeated. I’d like to know how I can have faith in God and truly rely on God.” Continue reading “English Christian Song | 572 Is This True Faith in God?”

I was born into a poor family in a village in rural China. Because of my family’s economic hardships, I would sometimes have to go without eating, to say nothing of snacks and toys. What’s more, all my clothes were hand-me-downs from my older sister. Because her clothes were usually too big for me, my classmates would laugh at me and refuse to play with me. I suffered greatly throughout my childhood. From that point on, I resolved to myself: When I grow up, I must make a lot of money and rise above my peers. I won’t let others look down on me again. Since my family had no money, I was forced to drop out before graduating from junior high school and work in a medicine factory in the county town. In order to make even more money, I would frequently work overtime until 9 or 10 p.m., but, despite my efforts I earned just a small pittance. At some point I heard that my sister was able to earn in five days selling vegetables what I earned in a month, so I quit my job at the medicine factory and went to sell vegetables. After a while I found that I could make even more money selling fruits, so I decided to start a fruit business. After I married my husband, we opened our own restaurant. I thought that now that I owned a restaurant, I would be able to earn even more money. Once I could earn a considerable amount of income I would naturally win the admiration and regard of my peers and, at the same time, I would also be able to live the lifestyle of an elite. However, after managing the business for a while, I found that we couldn’t make that much money. I started getting anxious and worried. When would I be able to lead a life that others would admire?
